It's a quaint little museum in a really small town.
The museum gift shop occupies the entire first floor with the museum upstairs. It's worth the visit and won't take a any longer than say 30 to 40 minutes to do the entire museum.
It has nice displays on on Whales and some nice videos but nothing that will blow you away.
Best for the kids set, probably really best suited as a visit before you go whale watching in the sound.
