The trail has a lot of curves and dips, so the scenery is always changing. I prefer to bike it, but today I was out for a run/walk. It was fun.
It's wide enough to accommodate people going in each direction. I don't think it's a great trail for groups of people strolling. Too many curves and too many people trying to workout.

I loved the new extention, keep it going to the Cedar River Trail System. If you have been to the Cedar River Trail you would enjoy this trail. The only problem is that it really doesn't go anywhere. You must enjoy it for the scenery and the wetland it runs through not for the value of traveling between Meeker High School and Lake Meridian

This trail is a gorgeous get-away from the daily stressors of life. It offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere where you are likely to see a variety of birds and lush greenery as you stroll along. Whether you are riding a bike, walking, jogging, taking photographs, or just trying to unwind, this is a great place to visit.
Been walking, riding and rolling the trail for years. I always come back. Its a great place to enjoy the outdoors and to get some excercise. Check it out!
I love the fact that this trail's scenery is remarkably diverce in it's scenery there are 4 or 5 distinct zones of different types of scenery including forest, wetlands with birds and frogs and other wildlife, grassy fields, and quiet semisuburban interludes. I found this trail to be a wonderfull treat on my bicycle. The only drawbacks to ...
