Madrona Park is a wonderful place for relaxing and family get togethers. There is covered picnic areas with barbecue pits, lifeguards in the summer, and a fairly new play area for small children. During Seafair, it's a wonderful place to watch the Blue Angels, who fly directly overhead during their show. At Christmas time, the Christmas ships go by, with bonfires on the beach, singing, and don't forget to bring the hot chocolate.
