My kids and I enjoy the zoo very much. One time when they were little the giraffes were being moved and they walked across a path right in front of us! It was so cool! Our two year old was riding on his dads shoulders and he was a little nervous but loved every second of it. Always a fun place to visit!
I love zoos and this zoo was GREAT! I had alot of fun and there are many animals and things to look at AND i ALSO LIKE HOW BIG THE PLACE IS TOO.

Living in their natural habitat (almost)

The extraordinary and diverse exposition will never bore neither adults nor kids. Close encounters with wildlife are guaranteed in many corners of the "world" built in the zoo, and in "the farm" are even encouraged.
Usually, you can limit your daily experience to a few large expos, unless you plan to spend the whole day in the zoo - it's huge.
I liked the variety of animals and habitats. We went in the afternoon, so we didn't have enough time to enjoy everything. Next time we will go in the morning. Bring your own lunch and snacks if you are bringing a large group. It could get expensive.

Being the first zoo that I ever visited, I guess I am partial. There is nothing not to like. From elephant rides to huge snakes you will find it all here at the Woodland Park Zoo
My daugther's and my experience at the Woodland Park Zoo surpased all other zoo trips we've ever taken! We started out at the African Hut, which my daughter and I found to be so fascinating, we could just imagine how that particular tribe lives in such a dwelling and what their lives might be like. We moved on to the Aquarium where we saw ...
We enjoyed all the exhibits and how easy it was to figure out where we were. My son enjoyed watching the monkeys play around. He also enjoyed seeing the elephants and giraffes. It was great to take my parents there for part of their vacation tourist experience. We can't wait to have the time to go back!
There is no way you could see everything there is to see at woodland park zoo in seattle. It has grown so much since i was a little girl. Now it is one of the biggest zoo's in the U.S. It has so many differant things to see. The animals have so much space to rome but yet it isnt imposable to see the animals. They have it set up so the animals ...

Who Loves Animal?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/16/05
Was the experience fun? Yes, I love seeing animals in small cages and pens. It makes me appreciate my own freedom. Would you recommend it to others? Yes, but only if they don't mind the sad expressions on the faces of the animals. Was it worth the time/money? Yes, I don't have to fly to Africa now that I've seen the fake little village the zoo keeps set up for me.
The Woodland Park Zoo provides an exotic escape from the city into luscious up close and personal exhibits. There are so many paths to choose from and a variety of shows and snack shops along the way. I enjoyed a refreshing Icee as I watched the penguins swim about. Then I enjoyed lunch with my friends under the shade of trees in a picnic area as ...
