My daughter loves to go the Pacific Science Center. It's a place where she can have lots of interactive learning adventures, and lots of special bonding time with Mom(that's me:) My daughter's favorite place is the butterfly exibit and the interactive water fountains. The butterfly exibit is so beautuful, feels like you're in a ...
True, True...you should get a City Pass in order to experience Seattles biggest attractions, but I wouldn't waste my time going to the Pacific Science Center. If you buy a city pass go only because you have already paid for it and only if you could not give it to someone else. This place is truly for kids. There wasn't anything ...

The Pacific Science Center
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/02/08
I think that the Pacific Science Center is definetly a place you should consider visiting when you go to Seattle. Not only is it a lot of fun for the kids, but it is very educational. The whole family will have fun there.
Was it worth the time & money? I would say yes. It is very interesting, and many of the exhibits there are hands on. It ...

Always Fun!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/17/07
I've been going to the Seattle Science Center since I was a little kid. First on school trips, then of my own accord with my extensive family.
The Science Center is a true delight. The exhibits are fun and entertaining, and the IMAX movies, the butterfly exhibit, and the planetarium are especially fun.
No matter your age, the Science ...

Run-down and out-dated Museum in need of a makeover!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/12/07
For our daughter's fourth birthday we took her to the Pacific Science Center. If we had liked it, we were thinking it would be fun to get an annual pass. Unfortunately the museum itself is severly run-down, and the number of non-functioning exhibits is really shameful. The very first thing we did was twist a dial that was supposed to make a ...

Great place for everyone
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/05
This is a great place to go if you have kids. Kids will find everything interesting from the fake dinosaurs to the butterfly house. There are also seasonal/monthly exhibits that change. For example, in August they hold "Toy Test" where you can try out all of the newest games before they evem come out on the systems. There is an imax ...

Well worth the time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/04
We have been members for several years. The traveling exhibits are always top notch and very educational - great for all ages and often geared toward adults. The butterfly house feels like a vacation and the IMAX movies are great. The planetarium is very nice. Most of the rest has a real kid feel to it. Go during school hours to really get the most out of the exhibits.

See - they have Roaches - under glass!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/07
Being from Houston, seeing a Roach is nothing, but I had to laugh when I saw they had them on display!
1st time we went, we had a great time. The Titanic Exhibit a few years ago was wonderful. Imax films always fun. Lots of hands on stuff for kids - even our teenagers enjoyed it. Make time to go.
