  • Needs lots of work
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/07/07
If you have been to a place like Portlands OMSI you will be quite disapointed ,it doesnt even hold hold a match. A city like Seattle should have a World class science center and this is not one... very, very sad.

  • Not for Adults
True, True...you should get a City Pass in order to experience Seattles biggest attractions, but I wouldn't waste my time going to the Pacific Science Center. If you buy a city pass go only because you have already paid for it and only if you could not give it to someone else. This place is truly for kids. There wasn't anything ...

  • Run-down and out-dated Museum in need of a makeover!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/12/07
For our daughter's fourth birthday we took her to the Pacific Science Center. If we had liked it, we were thinking it would be fun to get an annual pass. Unfortunately the museum itself is severly run-down, and the number of non-functioning exhibits is really shameful. The very first thing we did was twist a dial that was supposed to make a ...

  • From the '80s

Lots of fun hands on stuff for the kids, but very outdated. It definitely needs an update.

    The tic-tac-toe robot CHEATED!
Very old computers used to program things like the robot.

  • not worth going out of your way
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/14/06
My four year old daughter and I spent the day at Pacific Science Center. It was about half the size of the Omniplex in Oklahoma City and didn't have anything my four year old hadn't already seen somewhere else. Definitely wasn't crowded (weekday in November) so if you don't like a lot of people that could be a good break from the ...

  • Well worth the time
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/04
We have been members for several years. The traveling exhibits are always top notch and very educational - great for all ages and often geared toward adults. The butterfly house feels like a vacation and the IMAX movies are great. The planetarium is very nice. Most of the rest has a real kid feel to it. Go during school hours to really get the most out of the exhibits.

  • Love it here!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/25/05
first off, parking is hard to find around here but it sooo worth it when you find it!!!! I've been bringing my kids here for the last 8 years and it's still fresh and exciting to us! We love the different Imax movies and the prices are pretty reasonable. My daughter has been to their summer camp before and she loved it!

  • Great for families with young kids!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/05
My kids enjoyed a whole day exploring here! The star exhibit was a great experience along with the giant sized chess pieces. It can be a bit difficult to enjoy everything on a busy weekend as some parents just let their kids run around with no supervision.

  • A GREAT Value....
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/06
The Pacific Science Center has something for everyone. The daughter really liked it, and we made a half day of it. There is informtaion available on numerous subjects, not only for kids, but adults as well. My wife and I got to see our selves as weather forecasters and laughed about it most of the day. The IMAX theater would have been great, but my ...

  • The Pacific Science Center
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/02/08
I think that the Pacific Science Center is definetly a place you should consider visiting when you go to Seattle. Not only is it a lot of fun for the kids, but it is very educational. The whole family will have fun there.

Was it worth the time & money? I would say yes. It is very interesting, and many of the exhibits there are hands on. It ...
