  • Amazing Food
    By Dean D, 07/17/08
The first reviewer must have dead taste buds because Santa Fe Cafe has the best "New Mexican" food outside of Santa Fe. The food is amazing! And they serve Posole with every meal and that is a real treat. This is NOT Mexican food, but "New Mexican" food (there is a difference). Their Carne Asada (slow cooked meat that has ...

  • Only go for the drinks!
    By planck23, 09/04/06
They reason they can boast "the best margaritas" is because the food is the worst. The margaritas are good I'll admit with a tiny discount given on Wednesdays. The food lacked both color and flavour. Both mine and my friends dishes had all red colored food and the meat was wierd.

However, the artwork on the walls was fabulous and modern. So go for a drink and a look at the walls but go elsewhere to eat.

  • Fantastic Find!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/28/06
I have lived in the Southwest for most of my life and recently moved to Seattle. One of the first things I new I would miss was green & red chile. Well, I didn't have to miss it too long because I found Santa Fe Cafe...I have to admit I was worried about trying a New Mexican restaurant in Seattle, but it turned out to be such a treat and I would definitely go back. I can't wait!

The menu includes traditional Mexican entrees like enchiladas and tamales, as well as more exotic dishes such as artichoke ramekins, green chile tart and black bean soup. The appetizers and salads ...
