Wonderful restaurant with terrific location. Pricey, but better value than you'll get at McCormick's and the other high end seafood chains.
Go from May to June for excellent Copper River Salmon. They don't overcook it like most and it's so good you have to make reservations for it, sometimes a week in advance.

Liked everything about this place. Adult dining. Elegent setting and wonderful food. Great presentation of food. First time sat at the bar overlooking the cooking area, great fun to see how food was prepared.

worst hostess in town
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/27/07
I think the restaurant is great, food is perfect, location is ideal. But they have the worst hostess ever. She was really rude and unprofessional. I have also noticed she is very laud and hard to understand due to thick accent. I hope they hire someone better and well suited to that position.

Totally Memorable - and Delicious
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/26/06
It was about a year ago when my husband and I went to Seattle for a vacation, and we happened to single out a policeman for suggestions for dinner that evening. We had the good fortune to be directed to The Brooklyn. What an incredible dinner we had. Probably one of those dinners that all others will be judged against for us! Although we live ...
To me, The Brooklyn is a good restaurant that has the potential to be a great restaurant. The waitstaff is friendly and good at making recommendations and the food is tasty but not amazing. Therein lays the problem: for the prices they charge, the food SHOULD taste amazing. They give you smallish portions and charge 30 - 40 dollars for it. The ...

One of Seattle's best-kept secrets
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/13/05
Booked our reservation late in the day, and snagged the last two seats "at the kitchen counter." Not sure what we were getting, we were delighted to discover high-backed comfy seats overlooking the chefs doing their artistry with some of the best dinners in Seattle. Great selection of seafood and classic meats, all inventively prepared and superbly fresh. Try it-- you'll be back again and again.

A great time and excellent food!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/04
We could only get reservations for the "bar" which are high backed cushy chairs arranged so that you can watch the food being prepared. With four people conversation was a bit more limited than it would have been at a table, but it was fun being at the hub of activity and seeing all the food choices being rolled out. Staff was ...
