The goat always impresses with the food and of course the service. The menu is always changing, and the wine list is, well you would have to see it. The caeser salad alone is worth the drive from Seattle. Every person I introduce to this place introduces another friend. Best kept secret in the area.

We are always amazed anyone could write a bad review. We love this place. We always learn new things about wine and food. If you are used to Claim Jumper, come with an open mind. You will learn about eating (dining) in "courses". Go with a freind, share a couple apatizes, then share a pasta dish, then share a meat dish, then get ...

You make reservations at the Golden Goat by calling and leaving a message stating what day and time you'd like to eat there. There is no return phone call unless they cannot accomodate you at the time and day you request. It's great in theory, except I didn't get my phone call telling me my reservation was cancelled until 24 hours ...

The Goat is always wonderful. The food is excellent and so is the wine. The menu changes throughout the year and we look forward to each change. Jeff is very helpful and Samina is always gracious.

Sometimes they host prix-fix wine-tasting dinners. If you're lucky enough to get a seat at one of these, you won't be disappointed.

In short, we always go back. Sometimes we even bring friends.

We love to eat out and try to discover as many new dining experiences as we can both on the Eastside and in Seattle. We do keep coming back though to the Golden Goat. The food is always fabulous - the wines delicious [the chef/owner always has good recommendations] and the service is consistently warm and friendly. There is nothing not to like about this place.

We love going to Il Capreto D'Oro - its one of our favorite restaurants for a great meal and great wine with excellent service. We have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed.

This little restaurant consistently has served the most wonderful fresh,interesting food and also has an excellent wine list. Jeff, the chef/owner and his key server make the dining experience special.

We have taken friends and family there over the years, as well as dining by ourselves. We couldn't be more pleased. It's so nice to have this little gem in our neighborhood.

We were treated extremely rudely. Had a reservation for a birthday dinner and were placed at a table in a small room with a very large noisy party. Asked to be moved and was treated horribly. Was told the party would quiet down. Didn't seem likely. Said I would prefer to be moved anyways (the restaurant was otherwise empty)and was asked if ...

This is one of my new favorite restaurants of all time. The food is incredible. Make sure to ask for a wine recommendation. The staff is warm and friendly. Everything on the menu is delish!
