Stayed in Richmond for two weeks for training and ventured to "The Slip" almost every night. Great pubs, Capital Ale House, Tobacco Co. ,Tap House Grill, Hard Shell and I could go on and on. Reminded me a lot like Back Bay in Boston. Great Place!!!!

Went there before the Gaston flood for the 04 Harley HOG rally. Very cool place. The locals are extremely welcoming and love visitors. I thanked many locals for their warm welcome and hospitality.

My wife and I plan to visit The Slip on our own and plan to make it a regular weekend stop. We really enjoyed our stay and ALL the people that live and work there. What a cool town.

I really hope The Slip recovers quickly.

Go to Bottoms Up Pizza......... WOW. Best Pizza I had ever had!! It was very Original unlike anything I had ever eaten.

The Shockoe Bottom neighborhood of Richmond is a great place to find restaurants that are not your run of the variety. I live in a college town in PA that is full of chain restaurants, so on a visit to Richmond, found this area very refreshing.
