It was a brief stop at Bottoms Up Pizza thanks to a previous review. The area was quite slow since it was a Sunday morning/lunch. But as we walked out there were many pedestrians and no parking space.
The pizza(Karen's Combo) was rich in taste but quite oily. Very thick and mouthful.
Took some interesting pictures and saw a daily/flee(not sure) market being formed. When I have a chance, I may visit again.

My husband and I especially enjoyed the Old City Bar Restaurant, the food is great and the atmosphere ...

Goin to "The Slip"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/02/05
Stayed in Richmond for two weeks for training and ventured to "The Slip" almost every night. Great pubs, Capital Ale House, Tobacco Co. ,Tap House Grill, Hard Shell and I could go on and on. Reminded me a lot like Back Bay in Boston. Great Place!!!!

Went there before the Gaston flood for the 04 Harley HOG rally. Very cool place. The locals are extremely welcoming and love visitors. I thanked many locals for their warm welcome and hospitality.
My wife and I plan to visit The Slip on our own and plan to make it a regular weekend stop. We really enjoyed our stay and ALL the people that live and work there. What a cool town.
I really hope The Slip recovers quickly.
