I've been coming to Strawberry Street ever since I've first visited Richmond and it's always a place I want to go back to. The Chesapeake Chicken is excellent. I love the little flights of wine you can sample. The service is always pretty good, and even though I'm not a big salad fan, my friends always love the bathtub salad bar. ...

Brigitte and I ate here on our trip to Richmond, and I just loved the food I had. I had the crab quiche it was so good. The service was good, and the restaurant is so cool, it has an old claw foot tub for a salad bar, and stained glass windows really cool restaurant.

We've now been to Strawberry Street for brunch three times and my average rating is a gift. For many it's an institution, the perfect place for special occasions, etc., but I've found it overrated and overpriced. Sure, the bathtub brunch bar is cute and quirky, but if the food's no good, who cares? I mean, how difficult is it to make decent eggs?
