Had great time - walking and biking trails. On the waters' edges quite relaxing and exciting next to the rushing water. They have a C&O Canal boat tour at the park up and down the lochs and concession stand. Boardwalk to the island "rock forest" to the falls. Awesome scenery for couple hour or all day venture. Take the camera.

I had a great experience at the falls. I think it is a great thing to do with kids, except little ones because they might cry too much because of all the loud noises. Overall, it was a fun time.

Go to the park entrance, and not just at the parking lot across from Anglers Inn. There you can visit the Tavern and see photos, get maps, and read about the history.
