Thought it would be betterMy wife and I went on the soldier hollow express for our anniversary and the only thing that kept us interested in the ride was trying to avoid getting stung from all the wasps. It was deathly slow and surprisingly short. All the ride did was go up the tracks a few miles, unhook the engine, and hook it up the other side, and come back. You will see ...2 of 3 Yahoo! RelaxingNothing to do in Salt Lake City, Go on this train ride for some great scenery. The train was a little cold when it is 20 degrees outside. Saw 3 bald eagles, 8 turkey, 3 foxes, ice fisherman, fly fisherman, and a some nice snow covered mountains. Cost is about $30 per person.2 of 3 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

Heber Railroad - A Great Value & Picturesque TripA beautiful slow train ride from Heber down through the Provo Canyon. You can sit inside or move to an open car. The train rolls past the meandering Provo River where fishermen can be observed in hip boots fly fishing. Beautiful any time of year but especially in the Fall when we went with friends.
