  • Great for Exercising!
    By Lin, 05/25/09
Liberty Park is one of the best parks in the city. I go there at least three times a week to run around the jogging path, or bike along the bike path. Its huge and great for picnics and bbqs. On Sundays during the summer, they have Drum Circle, where a bunch of awesome hippies and other enthusiasts play their drums and other instruments and ...

  • SLC liberty park

So much to do for every age! Fabulous! The seven canyons area is so much fun for our four boys, ages 2-12. We could spend all day at this spot. Kids also loved the paddle boats.

  • I Love Liberty Park!
    By Jessica, 03/25/08
I love liberty park. It is a really nice park with lots of play area and nice shade for picnics. I would suggest anyone who hasn't been there, needs to see for themselves what a wonderful park it is.

  • Dirty Ghetto
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/08
Dirty Ghetto, screaming children, and alot of homeless people just roaming around. I would not let my children out in this park. Playgrounds are dirty and there is no stopping the seagulls from bothering you if you are trying to eat lunch

  • Long Ago..
    By Pablo M, 09/28/07
I don't recall seeing this park so full of trees and green scenes like the one portrayed here.. not since 1995. If you drive by any surrounding street you may miss this park all together.

  • Liberty Park Rocks
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/15/07
Liberty Park is a great place to go. My kids love the water area where they can run and play. There is lot of shade for adults and babies so you don't get too hot. The water area and playground and feeding the ducks is free. What a great affordable place to play. My kids could stay all day!

  • FUN in the Sun
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/20/07
A great place to take the kids in the summer. Bring a swim suit, the kids are allowed to play in the waterfalls and there are plastic balls they can play with in the water. A great place to get your feet wet too. (I didn't see an available changing room by the waterfalls). The Bird Avary is great too. There are rides but they look kind of old ...

I think that Liberty Park is a great feature in Utah and that every family should go there in one time or more in their life. I just went there last night!

  • Nicest Park Ever!
    By Jeff Bates, 09/29/06
I have 4 kids. They range from 13 to 2 years old. This park was heaven for them. What a nice place. The playgrounds were spectacular, very nice tennis courts, very clean park....my family was saying we need to consider moving here just for the park! :) They all LOVED IT! Don't miss the aviary! It even has free wireless internet!!!!

  • A great place to exercise and people-watch!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/06
I exercise in this park at least 4-5 days per week. There are two sidewalks and a maintained running trail around its circumference (about 1.5 miles) and many sidewalks criss-crossing the interior. People- watching while you run/walk/rollerblade is fun and dogs are fine if they are on leash (please clean up after them!). Also watch out for the garbage cans--they'll encourage you to run faster to get past their smell during the summer.
