  • The Alamo is awesome!

    What a fantastic historic site! We really enjoyed the Alamo. We took the kids to see the IMAX movie on the Alamo before we visited and this really helped them to understand what happened there. I suggest visiting as soon as it opens in the morning as it gets very busy in the summer.

    It wasn't bad but wasn't all that great. I enjoyed the Riverwalk, though. Very nice lush gardens...a must see.

    Walking into this historical building, knowing the sacrifices that were made there was almost overwhelming! The pride, the joy, the confidence, the sadness, the strength were all parts of the numerous emotions experienced in this great historical facility. It was almost like walking back in time.     This was the highlight of my trip to San Antonio. I got to see a lot of interesting historical sites, like the other missions, but the Alamo tells a story that is as inspiring as any every told.
