We bought tickets at a discount at Lackland AFB and went on the tour. It was great. The tour guide was very informative and a real funny person.

However, the water was pretty thick and murky and there was a lot of trash in it.

The River Tour is a great value $7.75 and its very informative. The drivers are great and they take you all around. The only badwas the trash in the river. the city should clean it better.

I am a native San Antonian and I can tell you that i've gone on the rive cruises plenty of times and each experience is different. I love that the drivers a passionate and funny about the history of the riverwalk! I would highly recommend to take a night cruise especially beautiful during the holidays when the light up the trees!!!

The stars really do shine bright over Texas in the winter months. San Antonio's River Walk is all lite up with millions of lights hanging from the trees over the river. As you cruise around the downtown area on the river bardge you will fall in love with Texas all over again. Very good deal for your money and well worth the time and parking hassels.

It's all part of the experience. You should go on the cruise to get an idea of what all you want to see. You get some neat history stories, and the guides are entertaining. It's definitley worth the money (under 10 bucks per person), and you see alot of neat places. We enjoyed hearing the stories about the buildings. One of them even has some gargoyles on them to "ward" off evil spirits.

The tour guides are great on these cruises. It is an entertaining and worthwhile aspect of your vist to San Antonio. Go at night -the lights on the river are beautiful.

This is the most wonderful expreience for anyone, any age, anytime. It is most beautiful at Christmas time, all the lights over the river, the reflections, the narraition, is just simpley beautiful! A MUST see and do! as important as seeing the alamo! Dont forget to see the entire river...walk it! its amazing!

We spent a week staying at a hotel on the Riverwalk and constantly saw the tour boats go by. We decided to try one and we were delighted. It was relaxing and the guide was upbeat and very informative about Texas and all the attractions. It was interesting to see the Riverwalk from the river angle. I would encourage all visitors to take the 30 - 45 min cruise. There are also evening dinner cruises which looked like fun.

Even though it was so hot (April?) and the humidity was awful, the boat trip was wonderful. The tour guide was very funny and had a lot of knowledge. Can't wait to go back during the holidays to see the Christmas lights. Hear it's the best!!!
