You have to stop and see the San Antonio River Walk, but then go on and see the rest of San Antonio.

The Food Is Great, but this Town has Great Food all around it.

If you walk the riverwalk away from the resturants and hotels it is very peaceful. Becareful near the hotels/resturants as people are crammed onto a 3 foot sidewalk trying to walk in diffrent directions. If you are down by the River Center mall grab a drink and sit and listen to the music. It is wonderful!

We came to San Antonio to follow our PSU football team to the Alamo Bowl. We left loving the Riverwalk in all of its holiday splendor and everything about it. What a Cool Place! Unlike many communities, San Antonio has utilized its river for the benefit of its people in a very aesthetic and practical way. The Christmas season is an especially attractive time to visit.

Very clean and inviting. No smoking is a BIG plus. The food was fantastic and shopping was VAST. Take a historic tour and learn about the economy, missions, gargoyles, ethnicity, waterways, etc. There is so much to know and what a beautiful PLACE. I wish I could move there!! Just BEWARE of the pigeons pooping on you while you walk...don't stop for a longtime in ONE spot.

Fun place to be, restaurants were amazing and the river walk was just very romantic, The night life was amazing, so was the boat ride.

My husband and I went to San Antonio and stayed the weekend on the River Walk and we loved it. We plan on going back very soon. I thought the atmosphere was beautiful and the people were very friendly. My favorite thing was riding in the boat on the river. Our tourist was very informative and make the ride ever better. It is worth going and seeing! You will enjoy it.

The river walk is the most if not the only part of my trip that i enjoyed. The music, the culture, the restaurants will engage and entertain you.

Take the boat is around 8$ and worth every dime, seriously its fun and i would encourage you to do that before you walk , it gives you a good idea of where to go.
