For a birthday we went to the 1604 location. They did not accept reservations. We were dressed up for a special evening. The ambiance was baseball caps and flip flops. Although that changed around 9:00pm when the teens and 20 somethings came in as a prep for the clubs in slightly more than a nothing.

The homemade bread baked across the parking lot in their own bakery really sets the standard for the rest of the evening. The Shrimp Paesano is my absolute favorite, with a hint of lemon in the butter sauce and excellent taste.

Overpriced, with cheap ingredients and not as flavorful as I've eaten at other San Antonio Italian restaurants. Noisy environment, not exactly a romantic ambience as I had expected.
