Where else can you get a Rum and RC Cola? Monday night you can get any bottle of wine over $50 for half price. Three kinds of fresh bread is immediately set on your table. They have a page full of ecletic daily specials. The service is top-notch! Tommy Lee Jones is spotted here all the time. Bring a sweater, the A/C is kept high all year long. Stay for great desserts and incredible coffee!

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant!!! I've been going there for years. Their breads are homemade, their dishes are unique, and the atmosphere can't be beat. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYONE ELSES REVIEWS. I'VE FREQUENTED LIBERTY BAR SINCE THE MID TO LATE 80'S AND THEIR CONSISTENCY IS ASTONISHING! EASILY ONE OF THE GREAT RESTAURANTS IN TEXAS. BRAVO!

When you look at the Liberty Bar, in all its crookedness, you wonder how it is still standing, and why. Once you're inside, you figure it all out. The Liberty Bar makes wonderful, comfortable dishes, and mixes them with quaint, comfortable space. Once inside the little bar that you could, you feel connected and at home, at a price you can afford.

I am new to the area and loved it! The coffee is fabu! And the food even better.... Great atmosphere, can you open early on Sunday mornings?

This is one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. My ribeye steak was done exactly to order, and my companion's chicken hoja santa was the perfect blend of flavors. Our server, Susan, helped us choose the perfect wine (the Selbach Riesling) and topped the meal off with a slice of delicious cocunut cake. The perfect meal for a perfect day.

I ate here because it was rated #1 in Yahoo! at the time. The table settings indicate something about this place: Sturdy simple wood chairs, a wood floor, and tables covered by crisp white tableclothes, covered by... brown paper.
