Impressive, but pricing is trickyButterfly exhibit is well worth the cost and the best part. IMAX offers very good film selections and plays throughout the day. The "featured exhibit" which they advertise quite a bit of is NOT included in general admission...doesn't say that anywhere in their marketing materials nor on their pricing sheet. Butterflies center is great!!I think is one of the best attractions in Houston. The children have the opportunity to observe the butterflies in their environment. Great place for learning.We always keep renovating our membership because this place has something for everyone. The permanent exhibitions are wonderful, especially the "Shell" collection.

Very interesting and educational!!I loved this place as a child and i love it now! My kids enjoy it and yours will too. Stop by today and learn more about natural science and everything else there to learn aaabout. It's Greeaat!Classes are available, exhibitions are always fabulous. My youngest son always has to visit the Gems and the Mummies. The kids placeI have 3 children ages 12-23. I've taken all of them over the last 15 years for many different events and they have loved every trip. School trips have been great and whenever they have special attractions its been great evey time! This is the family place and you don't have to spend 100's of dollars to have a great day out with the kids.

Our family loves this placeThis is a great place for kids...even my 2 boys who are not remotely interested in "the arts" love it once we get there. Our favorites include: Cockrell Butterfly Center (and the insect exhibit adjacent to), the globe fountain in the courtyard, IMAX, Planetarium, the hall of minerals, the paleontology hall and all of the visiting ...1 of 1 Yahoo! I LOVE IT!!!I get so much nostalgia from visiting this museum. I could come here over and over again, and it still has many things to enjoy.
There's the dinosaur exhibit, Butterfly center, IMAX, and gift shop!
Not to mention, the exhibits they have here are awesome. I went to visit the Body Worlds 3 exhibit, which is on display until September (?) I believe.
