There is a butterfly exhibit that is great for little kids to enjoy. The IMAX theater usually has a couple of films to choose from. The gift shop has alot of neat toys that will expand kid's minds and teach them about science.

The Butterfly Place and the Imax are the best! There are also many other things to do and some very cute gift shops.

The HMNS is one of my favorite museums. The exhibits are something not to miss. We've had exhibits from the Vatican City, Dead Sea Scrolls, Pearls, Gold, Lord of the Rings and more. They're doing a really great job getting historically important and even pop culture popular exhibits. I've seen the ring that popes used to wear. I've seen the actual ancient text from the Old Testament.

I loved the museum...wish they had something besides McDonalds....but hey, like kids want 3 course meals. The "visitor services" kids were nice and helpfull. Gift shops were nice...like how they have a shop for kid and adult tastes. Gift shop staff, although busy,were very helpfull and friendly when i had a few questions. A little pricey i f you go to see eveything,but well worth it. Will visit again.

The butterfly exhibit was fun, and one actually landed on my father, it was great! My family really had a great time at Imax. The best part of our trip was the smiles on my family's faces.

The exhibits were really nice but the cost was too much. Skip the special exhibits and just go to the butterfly exhibit, it was worth it.

Hated the long lines for tickets. Better know which tickets you want so you do not have to wait in line again. The Butterfly Center was great, wearing bright colors does work. Suggest to eat somewhere else before going, unless you do not mind eating McDonald's at a slightly expensive rate than normal. A lot of good restaurants on Montrose. ...

Great for the kids...they loved the Cockerell Butterfly Exhibit. Butterflies actually landed on their clothing. Hint: Where brightly colored clothes. My son wore a bright green and attracted many butterflies. My daughters wore turquoise and no butterflies landed on them.

Very educational for people of all ages. It showed science from many different perspectives.
