We always keep renovating our membership because this place has something for everyone. The permanent exhibitions are wonderful, especially the "Shell" collection.
And the IMAX Theater always bring the most fascinating adventures. If you are visiting Houston, can not miss this Museum.

I try to vist several times a year to view the gems and butterflies. Everything is great! I used to take my ESL classes to the museum for private tours and practice using their English.

working at the med center, I stop by this museum all the time. Always something new, there are several choices to see. They have the imax theater, new exhibits, all changing all the time.

I loved it!!We just got back!! I'm wearing the t-shirt now!! they have HUGE dinosaur bones on display and GREAT science things!! they have a hall of science and you get to enteract with all the things!!! if you go to Houston go here!! my favorite was the little ship thing that took you on a tour like thing of a underground oil rig!! it so cool!!!the traffic is BAD but worth it!!

I get so much nostalgia from visiting this museum. I could come here over and over again, and it still has many things to enjoy.

Not to mention, the exhibits they have here are awesome. I went to visit the Body Worlds 3 exhibit, which is on display until September (?) I believe. It was great, I highly recommend it, and I also want to see the treasures of Ur ASAP.

I am a member of the HMNS and highly recommend it to all. There are many different features - you can see them all in one day or pick and choose what you want to see. The museum has great traveling exhibits - the best I recall seeing were the Titanic Artifact Exhibit and the just concluded Body Worlds 3. The permanent exhibits are worthwhile, ...

i love the gems, butterflies, dinos, african animals, sea creatures, imax, and egypt stuff. i also liked the ben franklin exhibit. it was really awesome. it is the best museum in houston and one of the best i have ever been to in my life.

This is a great place for kids...even my 2 boys who are not remotely interested in "the arts" love it once we get there.
