The visitors center is designed mostly for the enjoyment of children, but there are some interesting exhibits for adults also. Take the tram tour early, and then repeat it later in the day if you wish (you can get seats on the opposite side as the first time to get different photos, and you'll know where in the group to be to get the best ...
We got to tour the Center thanks to a worker there who was getting married. She got us the tickets and gave us some insights from actually being there every day. My boys both very young were impressed by the rocket and the training facilities.
This place is alot of fun for the kids,They have lots of games, you can shoot up a rocket,or build and launch your own using computers that you can talk and inter act with other guest in different parts of the building too!while seeing them on tv screens,it really funny! The whole place in one big play ground, you can see what the inside of the space ...
Space Center Houston might have been intended for kids, but kids of all ages will find something to enjoy - from memories of the older Apollo missions, to watching the Space Shuttles blast off on a screen thats as big as life. Be sure you have all day to get in everything so visitors of all ages will have time to try out what its like to be an astronaut.

Good just for kids
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/06
If you want to enjoy a sunday with your kids.. Space center is your place.
If you want to see something real forget it. The only interesting thing is the full size copy of Saturn five. But for 20 bucks.. I think that the Art museum of Houston worth 100 better the value.
I hope Cape Canaveral is more interesting..

Disappointment!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/24/06
I was expecting to see an actual life-sized space shuttle (even if it is a decommissioned version) and tour the current actual Mission Control, so I was deeply disappointed when both are not to be seen. The tour does cover the old Mission Control (abandoned in 1995), but even that we can only view from behind a glass wall. Maybe I'll try the Kennedy Space Center next time.
THIS PLACE WAS SO CLEAN NICE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY OR JUST FOR THE TWO OF US EVEN IF YOU DONT LIKE OR CARE ABOUT SPACE SHUTTLES OR ANYTHING IT IS THE BEST . WE WILL GO BACK BUT THIS TIME WITH OUR CHILDREN.
