I loved the aquarium and the rain forest, you could really get up close and observe especially in the rain forest. It was an awesome experience.

  • It was the best!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/01/08
There was nothing that i disliked about moody gardens. The prices were just right and it was worth every penny. It makes me want to go there every time i go to Galveston. Dont change a thing, it was perfect. The only fish that you didn't have at the time was the cuddle fish. But it was all good to start with. Keep up the good work!

  • Love it!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/03/07
The last time I went, Moody Gardens was, for the most part, a great experience. In the summertime after 6:00, all of the attractions are half-priced. At least that's the way it was when we went last (which may have been 7 or 8 years ago now). We loved the rainforest and aquarium pyramids. The discovery pyramid was sadly lacking. I think when we ...

  • Wonderful Family Vaction
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/01/07
A wonderful, fun family vaction. We went in June this year for the first time. We loved it. It was so relaxing. I liked myself because my life is so busy with work and the family that if you stay at the hotel you never have to leave, everything is within walking distance. The food is not too pricey in the Garden Cafe. If you are not a big ...

  • Great gulf wildlife experience, not so great customer service
    By Kyleh, 10/30/07
Moody Gardens is a must-see if you like observing wildlife or enjoy wildlife museums in general. Both the aquarium and the terarium are awesome and some of the best maintained that I have been to. The exhibits are kid friendly in that there is plenty to look at at kids-eye level, and cleanliness and safety seems to be a priority in the design of ...

  • Just costs WAY too much!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/05/07
Moody Gardens has a great idea going, but they are way too proud of what they offer. The Aquarium was great, but way too overpriced for what you get. Lots of different sea life and we were able to catch the Sea Lion feeding, but other than that we were out of there in 15 minutes. The Rainforest was a HUGE disappointment. There was nothing to ...

  • Bring your wallet
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/07
Took the 2 grandkids and my wife yesterday to see the dinasour exhibit. Realized upon arrival that it would be necessary to buy a day pass to make the trip worthwhile. $45 per person (even for 6 year old kids).
Should have brought food and water. Bare hot dog $6.oo. Slurpy in small cup $6. Spent $325 between 10am and 5pm for 4 people for entry ...

  • For a good time...
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/07
We only went to the Aquarium and the Rainforest Pyramids. The Aquarium was the best I've seen in Texas, and that's a lot. The seals were exceptional. The Rainforest, was over crowded and disappointing compared to the Aquarium. The gift shop was way too expensive with very little selection. They didn't sell any educational ...
