The museum is a fine break to urban sprawl, adobe architecture shopping centers and apartment complexes with architectures planned for varying income groups and cultural heritages.

Admission to the museum is quite expensive. There were five adults in our party, which made our admission somewhere over $70 dollars.
When I inquired about the photo policy I was told that I could take pictures in all but one section which was indicated on the materials I received when I purchased my ticket. Once in the section that I was ...

So much to do here!
By easy_hardships, 05/31/06
This museum is bountiful and endless in its attractions. There are many exhibits to explore, and it's conveniently down the street from many other museums. My friends and I enjoy take a full day off once in awhile just to visit as many museums as possible. We've been coming here for years now, and it's still pleasing to be here.

I have been to many museums all across America and MFAH is still one of my favorites. They always have amazing exhibits. They also have a Cafe Express, so you can just grab something to eat there!

So many exhibits. so much variety..soo huge! walking underground tunnels from one building to the next.. a never ending trip through out culture, fantasy and history!
World class museum! I've been to museums in England and France and also others in the states and this one is impressive. I especially like the new building that opened a couple of years ago (the Beck bldg.) It also has a gorgeous sculpture garden that's perfect for a hand-holding, date stroll! There are huge old oak trees on the property and lush green lawns on which a nice picnic could be enjoyed!

Lovely afternoon...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/01/05
It has free admission on Thursday which I discovered serendipitously. I have been in more beautiful spaces that were easier to negotiate. But there is a wealth of art, especially in the Audrey Jones Beck Building where I found the old masters in 1/2 and the 20th century great artists in the other half upstairs.
