You get insight into the Victorian architecture that was so popular during the settlement of the island and you get to see firsthand a prime example. The home is totally restored to Victorian elegance with period furnishings and wallpaper throughout the home. The woodwork alone is worth touring this home to view.

I enjoyed the tour very much and only wish I could have gone upstairs to the art studio. I can only imagine what it must have been like to live in such splendor. The guides were knowlegeable and the house was great. If you are impressed with attention to details and these old houses then you should give this one a shot.

The Palace was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I would like to back to see the Palace in 2008. I was diappointed that I was unable to use my camcorder to video the Palace so I could show my husband and friends how beautiful it is.

This is the most beautiful Victorian mansion we have ever seen. The woodwork is just exquisite, and the furnishings top off the whole experience. The tour guides were very informative. Can't wait to see it again!
