i heard this place is closed! i went on a tour tho it was great. wanted to go back, so i told my friend she said they closed it down! :( i really love that place the tour was wonderful.

I strongly disagree with the poster who said that all sugar is the same. No way! Imperial sugar is one of the finest, if not the best brand on the market. There are others just as good; i.e, Donino's and C&H.....
Imperial is made from SUGARCANE...and a lot of others such as the store brands [chain names] are made from beets. And you just ...

I'm not sure, but I thought I heard this place closed down. I visited in the early nineties and enjoyed tour. It established for me that generic sugar is no different from brand name. They just have different packages.
