  • Great for the guys!
    By Roxie, 02/21/08
My husband was like a kid in a candy store! There are so many types of planes to see, and even some other military vehicles. The staff was very friendly, and there were even some veterans there who will share their knowledge and memories with you. The gift shop had some great items too!

  • A Must see for the entire family from the very young to the very old, male OR female.
    By echobons, 10/28/07
We continued to turn another "corner" only to see another plane, antique cars, trucks, even bicyles and artwork; something for everyone.

Excellent history lessons to gain wisdom about the growth of our country and the growing aeronautical industry from the 1800's to present much made by our fighting men (and women)who gave their ...

  • Beautiful Planes
    By jhenry2628, 08/15/07
It was a great stop on a trip. Its not a place that you can just spend an hour in. Be prepared for several hours. It helps to go with someone that knows some things about WWII and other aviation. The hall of fame was neat. It was a great place to visit.

  • One of the Top Aviation Museums in the Country
    By whirlyite1959@sbcglobal.net, 09/09/06
The Lone Star Flight Museum is one of the best aviation museums in the country IMHO. They have a great selection of planes in their static displays, including a B-58 Hustler! Every year, usually around April, they hold an air show which rivals the Wings Over Houston affair. They bring some of the warbirds out of the hanger and put them in the ...

  • Loved it!!
    By Denise W, 07/07/05
We went to this flight museum last year and we really loved it. This is a great way to get an up-close look at these planes! The place is spotless and the planes are mint!! There is a lot of information about the history of these planes. We would definitely go back!!

  • Good family outing
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/19/05
As an aviation buff, I think this is a great place for tourists to visit. Living relatively close myself, I visit a couple of times each year and enjoy it immensely. Admittance is only $5-$6, or it was the last time I visited. They have quite a few aircraft, most from the WWII era, and some under restoration. Among their inventory you'll ...
