It's Only NaturalIt's only natural that any lakes in Texas will drop a few inches/feet during the summer months. Yes, there was hydrilla consuming the lake and yes, it was down quite a bit in 2006. Close to DFWThis park is conveniently close to DFW which is a plus when you have only a weekend to camp. Go early and pay for nights you do not plan to camp if you want a prime location - evidently that is what everyone did during fall break.
