I went around the same time as honeybee and have to agree that it smelled horrible! Not worth the $12/person admission price.

We went to Burgers Lake Tuesday, August 18.
My wife and I, our daughter, grandson (6), granddaughter (almost 2), and my father. All of us had a wonderful time and will return soon. The lake is clean, clear, and cool. Picnic areas, tables, grounds, restrooms were all clean and well maintained.

This was our first visit to Burger's Lake and let me just say we will be back! We live in Granbury, about 40 minutes away, so a nice but convenient drive. We had a BLAST!! It was worth the time/money will recommend others.My only dislike is there are too many rocks in the water by the slides.

It was our first time at Burger's Lake and it was the greatest. Had so much to do with our 3 Year old. They cater towards families.. The only awful downside is that we packed snacks and drinks thinking there would be somewhat ok food to eat..boy were we wrong.. we ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a hot dog...guess how they cooked it.....

After reading the reviews I am ready to go!! Only question is in one of the reviews someone said that their clothes were stained. Anyone else have this problem? If so what was the cause? Just curious if I should wear a new or old swimsuit.
