It is a tree lined with foutains and well lit at night. There is hardly anyone there so it is a great place for romance or peace. By the way the statue of the guy is who the park is named after who served with Pres. Nixion, but I guess art is more important to some than history.
Surrounded by office buildings and streets, one fountain drew the eye. It was a gorgeous Matisse, just over a fountain. The city has replaced it, with a forty foot tall guy carrying a briefcase.
Umm, yeah. Cartoon characters towering over a place where gorgeous art previously resided, don't do it for me.
Burnett Park is an embarrassment to natives. Better left unsaid.
