I love this place. the atmosphere is a little homelike yet very romantic.
During the week the music is very relaxing yet on the weekend it is very ubeat with the 3-4 piece jazz band. My favorite is the chataeubriand. this is to die for. The service is great.

This restaurant used to be our farvorite Italian place to dine however service continues to go downhill. We arrived at our reservation time of 7:30, ordered a $40.00 bottle of wine, ordered our food (nothing fancy). By 9:00 pm still no food howowever 3 other tables seated after us received their food. We left paying for onlyh the wine - No tip.

Its a shame. This used to be a good place to dine. we will give our business elsewhere.

My husband and I have been eating at Sardines for years...it got it's name from the old building, which was not much more than a rickety shack and the tables we croweded together like sardines! Sometimes I felt weird sitting so close to the other people...it felt like we were ALL on a date!

The food is great. I met the Chef (Marcus) and his specials are great. Will cook something special if you request it. I highly recommend this place.

I have had Italian food all over the country and every time I compare it too Sardines! I a still bitter about loosing the old building but the food keeps me coming back time and time again. The music and the sevice are always great as well. Great place to take a date to make an impression.
