Every birthday my family knows where I want to go. Through the years the food has been consistently wonderful. It is a very busy place and if you don't want to wait then go somewhere else. If you don't mind the wait it is so worth it. I've been eating there since 1977 - when you had to walk through the kitchen to get to a table. ...

Worst establishment ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/10/07
When you sit down they do not give you a menu. They do not "believe" in them. They tell you they serve enchiladas or fajitas, both coming with rice and beans. The wait staff set our food (chips, plate of beans and rice, entree) down and walked off quickly, no friendliness. When we get the bill, we are shocked that each entree is $12 plus ...

Best Tex Mex around
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/22/07
This is the best place to sit and unwind with friends around the pool and to sip on margaritas. It has a very relaxing atmosphere. The food is just wonderful and there is plenty of it to share or take home to eat the next day. Bring cash or your checkbook, because they don't take credit or debit cards. The lines will be long, but they go ...

Excellent "Can't wait to go back!!!!!!"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/20/07
My husband and I are new to the area and had heard of this resturant several times. I searched on this site and was almost convinced not to go. I am SO GLAD I didn't listen to what the reviews on this website were. We had excellent service. The fajitas were the "best" that my husband can remember. (he is a fajita fanatic). I had ...

Best Mexican food I have ever eaten.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/08/07
We were there as a tour group, their accommodations were top-notch, service couldn't have been better, food the best I have ever eaten (I'm 61).
I only wish it was close by here in MO. We would go ALL the time.

Overrated Tourist Trap
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/07
AWESOME atmosphere - beautiful by the water fountain. POTENT margaritas. FOOD is the equivalent of eating a Mexican TV dinner - wouldn't care if the choices were limited if the food was GOOD!

Best place in DFW!
By Larry, 10/02/07
Joe T's is simply fantastic! Great restaurant to take a date to, business associates, friends, you name it! The atmosphere is 2nd to none and the margaritas rock! The food is actually quite good but I'll admit it's not the best I've had but the ambiance makes up for it easily. Just remember to bring cash!

Don't judge a book by it's cover!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/07
The biggest, most beautiful outdoor stone patio eating area ever! Inside is nice and cool. Great margarita's and, of course, the food is fresh, fabulous, and abundant! Would be a nice place for a wedding reception, too.

Joe T's THE BIG MISTAKE FOR A PARTY
By mindy b, 09/10/07
The party planner was never there, and I was refused, from booking a small party, and that's after invitations were sent out and a cake was ordered from across town. I've lost a deposit, and I don't understand, since they accomidate party's of 30 to 40 all the time with no reservation. My booking was over a month in advance. Please be careful with your plans, some can be unexpectedly destroyed.

I love the patio!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/07
I wish there was a Joe T Garcia's in the Dallas area. The patio is the best. It feels like one is in a hacienda patio in Mexico with all of the trees, flowers, fountains and birds. Both times that I have come I had the best service. The food is pretty good but not outstanding like the the ambiance in the patio. I will come back again and again ...
