The lake is awesome!! There's a nice path for people to walk, ride bikes, rollerblade, etc, and places for people to relax, picnic, grill, etc. No charge to park your car or to get into the park. Definitely makes for a nice day :)

i went for a weekend.. the place was peaceful and good but there are no activities for tourists. you are supposed to have brought a bicycle(ride) or boat for a sail.. so if you are new to the place.. you can just enjoy the calm nature of the place but not sail...around the place

there is a feeling that you are out in the country, a tranquil and serene place, however just a short distance from Garland Road a major street where there are many shops and restaurants, beautiful dream homes surround the lake and a view of the city skyscapers lends itself on the south side of the lake.

We have been going here for years. the trash on the lake is atrocious the attention to detail byt the city is obvious. The creeks are full of trash and debris and so is a vast perimeter of the lake. Broken bottles and debris are everywhere. The walk is a pleasure shame that the city can't take care of the park.

White Rock Lake is a beautiful place right in the middle of the city. It is a great place to ride a bike or jog. There are sailing clubs, a dog park, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The only bad thing about the lake is the scarcity of fish, they are in there but just not a lot of them.

Now this is fun. We start out around Greenville and Royal lane and take the trails all the way to White Rock. We can have a picnic and throw the frisbee around and just have some good 'ol hippy fun. Then ride our bicycles around the park stopping to enjoy ourselves wherever we desire... and head on back over the trails from whence we came. ...

We came in last minute and found that the lake was beautiful and peaceful. The restraunt on the lake was good to but really bad service. overall we had a great time and wished that we could have spent more time there.

What a great place to enjoy God's creation. To be able to cycle around the 9.2 mile trail enjoying nature is just unbeatable. Our great is our God? Take a glimpse of the lake and you'll see!

Great trail for bicycling with views of the city and you wouldn't see by car. Most areas of the lake are really clean and best of all it's free. A great place to go relax on the weekend. Love it!
