  • I would love to return a second time!!
    By Cheri, 10/09/09
I loved looking at the different animals. I especially loved the black lighted tank of jellyfishes becuase it was so eye catching. I think everyone will enjoy going to this aqarium. I also liked the fact it was well kepted because I dont like the smells that come with some animals...lol

  • Loved the shark tank!
    By Taren, 09/08/09
I loved everything about this place, except the smell was terrible! It smelled like a house with 30 cats. So if you can stomach that part everything else was awesome. We came to Dallas from Tulsa, OK to go to the aquarium because it had such high ratings and I'm glad I seen it, but I wish I would have planned more to do because it only took an ...

  • An aquarium is an aquarium
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/09
It is unfair for people to accuse zoos and aquariums for being cruel to animals. I think it is fair to say that even the best zoo or aquarium in the world is cruel to animals. I have been to over 50 different ones throughout the country, and I leave them feeling sorry for the animals no matter which one I visit. The fact is, people have to look ...

  • Kids loved it
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/08/09
We live 110 miles away, well worth the time and expense. Our five and ten year old boys loved the animals, sharks, and exhibits. A little crowded especially with people using strollers. A good time by everyone in the family. The restaurant food was good. We will visit it again.

Definitely go during the school year. We went on a summer morning and were swamped with several dozen summer camp groups. Due to the narrow walkway, I often felt that we were being herded along with the groups of kids and did not have the time to read about the exhibits.

While we did like parts of the Aquarium, I am not sure I would go back ...

  • Love it so much
    By april, 01/06/09
People complain about the price but for dallas, its completely worth it! It has 2 wonderful restuarants and a gift shop. Not only is it an aquarium, but it also includes sharks and jaguars and not to mention the mayan dancers performance. The staff was very friendly and overall a good environment. As a previos worker there, i know personally that ...

  • If you love animals please don't visit this place.
    By JenB, 12/10/08
Please, please do not visit this place. It is horrible and should be shut down. No animals should be forced to live this way. Do not be fooled by the good reviews.

The animals are stacked one on top of the another in the exhibits. There is no room for them to move. The Aquarium gives the animals no place for privacy. Any good zoo always gives ...

  • Awsome
    By Scott.Stephanie, 11/19/08
I loved the place! walking up to the teller you got to see fish and animals before you even got in! once you enter you are in a jungle full of animals, birds, and incets. The best part of the place was the shark tunnle. You walk under and it fells like you are in the ocean with the sharks. I think it was well worth the $20 you pay to get in!!

  • HORRIBLE
    By DianaJ, 08/05/08
The place itself was nice. There is NO building capacity. They will pack as many people in as humanly possible. We waited in line in 109 degree heat for an hour and a half to get in and after we got inside the line was even worse. There were so many people that you couldl barely move. We waited 20 minutes(with a stroller) to take the ONE elevator to ...
