Old Red Courthouse is a wonderful place to have a wedding. The facility is designed to have the ceremony and reception. The staff is great and takes pride in their work.

Also don't miss the presentations in the theaters in each of the four "eras" of Dallas County History which cover periods from pre-history to 2007.
Inquire as to the possibility of visiting the Hatton W. Sumners Court Room on the Fourth Floor, restored to its original appearance.
Plan to spend several hours, especially if you take in all the theaters and all the touch-screen interactive displays.

Crown Jewel of Dallas

The Old Red Courthouse originally built in 1890. As of May 15, 2007 has been fully restored, with at least one courtroom renovated to its original state, and the clock tower and grand stairway replaced.
Check out the Old Red Museum located on the 2nd floor. It is spectacular and a must see. Be sure to see the artifacts and the stories on the touchscreen monitors. They are great.
