the service was excellent. food was excellent and will return just as soon as I can get back to tx.The server was great with lots of stories. and good selection of food. Anyone from the south would really enjoy this place and anything on it... It was cooked just like I would and enough for a doggie bag.

If you want a quality seafood dining experience that satisfies all of the senses, this is just about the only 'chain' kind of restaurant I give my thumbs up to. Well-executed dishes, well-executed service, and well-executed ambiance at just-as-well derived prices make this a 'gotta try' kind of place in my book. If I can add any ...
Everything that came to the table was great. From the gumbo to the catfish. Even the bread they put out on the table is awesome. I had the Mardi Gras Pasta. tasty to say the least. You really must go.
Only problem we had was getting our party of 9 a table. But the taste of the food and the atmosphere far outweighted the wait. For big partys call 24 hours in advance for seating.

GREAT FOOD!! Its like a flavor bomb exploded in your mouth!! Amazing Cajun food, cant wait to go again! You must try their crab cakes, gumbo soups, and the pasta mardi gras, hands down the best cajun food here in Dallas.

If You Like Seafood...
By lavenderbluelassie, 09/10/06
This is the place to go. Several locations in the Dallas area. One on I-75 south of Frisco. Atmosphere is a bit more formal, but keeps a bit more formal clientele as well. Wide selection on menu. Open and airy with a feel that you are on an ocean-front property. Great place to meet friends and visit over a wide selection of seafood appetizers while waiting on your main course. A bit of a wait, but well worth it.

Can't wait to eat here again!!!
By smfactory, 06/14/06
I look forward to eating here at least once a year when we fly out of Dallas for family vacations. Wish they would open in Tulsa, OK.
Great food, atmosphere, everything! I tried calamari for the first time at Pappadeaux's and loved it! Stuffed crab is my favorite.
Only complaint I have is I wish they sold Pappadeaux's t-shirts, etc!

Worth the Wait
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/06
I really enjoyed Pappadeaux's when I was in College in Houston. I guess I was at the bar too long to realize how long the wait actually was. I was disappointed that we waited almost two hours to be seated. There were large parties that came well after us that were seated before us. I guess you have to have 7 or more people to get faster ...

Not too too fancy, good service and GREAT HEAPING PILES OF FOOD!!! A little expensive but for me, it's totally worth it. The fried alligator tail is awsome.

Don't go.

I am from New Orleans and I found Pappadeaux to be a lame food chain franchise attempt to rip off an authentic cuisine. The cheesy franchise feel is the antithesis of cajun.

Not Louisiana style boiled crawfish!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/07/05
Ok I went to Pappadeaux's and order boiled crawfish. I crawfish weren't seasoned like we season our seafood in South Louisiana. They seasoned it after it was boiled I could tell because of the simple fact that I ate a few and my hands were sooo very dirty from the outer part of the crawfish. They way South Louisiana boil their crawfish ...
