The new owner Kriem Alaoui is someone we have kept up with since his younger days working with famed Franco Bertolasi. We read that Kirem has recently purchased City Cafe in Fall 2007...we had to go!

Our afternoon tea experience at City Cafe was hands down the best we have ever had. They worked us in at last minute and from beginning to end treated us like royalty. The food was delicious and the tea was excellent. I would recommend this experience to anyone that is looking for great food and a wonderful time.

fabulous neighborhood find. as usual, chef michael weinstein creates sumptuous delights from seafood, lamb, beef & fowl. wonderful homemade barbeque sauce & delicious homemade sauce for calmari.
wait staff is courteous & attentive.
wine list is varied & prices are reasonable. one of our favorite romantic dining spots.
