While the staff is generally unfriendly I enjoy visiting the animals. A lot of the reviews talked about how ragged the animals look; what they don't say is that ALL the animals are rescue animals. If they are a bit rough looking it's because someone else tried to keep these poor wild animals as pets. It's a fun day trip. Wear closed toe shoes and sunscreen as they walkways are not paved and there is not a lot of shade.

This run down facility is poorly managed. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I will never go back. I feel bad for the animals but the abuse you take from the staff, especially the Director and Assistant Director, is not worth the effort.

This Zoo was not really a "Zoo". I felt really bad for all the animals..it was sad. I went on a hot day and a lot of the animals had dirty water or none at all. This place was not kept up with, the animals habitats looked very horrible!! Most of the animals just looked like they were suffering!
