My husband and I were married here in the gardens in July 2007. This is a beautiful natural park with ponds full of Koi fish and lily pads! Go in the late spring/early summer and the flowers are absolutely beautiful! There is also hiking trail that lead to a little stream which is wonderful on those hot Texas days to just get your feet wet!! Great place and never crowded!

Beautiful Secret Garden
By Kiddo, 08/13/07
I've been to this park a few times and rarely is it crowded. There are some woods to walk in and magnificent ponds with flowers, fish, frogs, and turtles. Take a camera, you can get amazing photos here. Only downside - I got a lot of mosquito bites.

Spring day

It's quiet and peaceful. A great look at what Austin has to offer. The free roaming peacoks are a nice touch. And very beautiful during the spring.
