If you want time for yourself it's a good place to go. Not much to do there actually. You come in to the park and park your car by the grassland, if you want to get to the river and the picnic tables it's about a 10-15 minute walk. Didn't see anyone else when I went there on a Wednesday afternoon in July. Extremely hot though - but hey... it's Texas ;)
