I liked the architecture, the new addition is great... it was exciting and fun learning...

The Texas Austin State Capitol was cool, and awesome. Atmosphere? Everybody was enjoying theirselves, but our tour guide didn't really do that excellent of a job, but oh well. Loved looking up and up into the dome and the feeling that we were entering a place where history had been and was being made.

Parking around this capitol is challenging but the actual place is super. It commands respect from the moment you walk in. I espeecially like all the portraits of past governors.
The substances used on the floors and walls are wonderful, all shining and clean despite all the traffic. Might it be marble, anyway it is lovely.
Even the cafeteria had fairly decent food.

The capitol is merges historic and contemporay interest into on sight. An excellect place to go alone, with others, or even bring the family. The capitol is surrounded by a beautiful park with huge shade trees.

There's no excuse not to go because after all, it's free! The capitol is an amazing edifice; it's the largest state capitol ...

You can't go wrong on any tourist location in Austin, but you MUST start here!! The librabry is fascinating, take the tour and run over to the Bob Bullock State museum.

I love history and the capitol has that. I love to walk the area. There are many places to see and things to do in the immediate area.

History of Texas is great. Pride that comes through. Incredible architecture. Paintings. Access to chambers. There is so much to see and learn. The walk up to the capital is just as beautiful as the interior so it makes enjoying the indoors and outdoors easy to do in one place.
