Don't take the KIDS!!!The place is beautiful but DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS!!! There are a lot of trashy, naked people running around. I would love to visit the place with everyone FULLY CLOTHED. I, personally, will NOT go back. I do NOT care to see NUDE people. If I want to see someone naked I will ask my husband to take off his clothes, lol. Beautiful place but would ...17 of 30 Yahoo! An oasis in the city!It's such a nice, clean place. It's wonderful to swim in the natural water. Nudity is not allowed, but the Pool IS thong-friendly and topfree (topless is allowed). not what i remeberI remeber it behind nice and cold. Well we went there 5-20-06 and it was nasty. There was so much alge floating on the top of the water, that you didn't have to think about being cold just don;t let that stuff get on me is what I was thinking. A true natural treasureGot the chance to check out the Barton Springs Pool in Austin last weekend and I loved it. The cold water was great for floating in like a lazy hippo while the sun shined down from above. The water is so clean for a "natural" pool and I loved the change from antiseptic chlorine pools. not for kidsmy family and i went not knowing they let people swim in the nude. NOT FAMILY FRIENDY
But do get me wrong it is a very nice place green grass lots of tree and the water is clear.

If you are a swimmer, don't miss this pool!Located very close to downtown, I was lucky enough to get a tour with the staff that run it.
What a great place to go. If you like to swim in a natural environment, don't miss this. Great setting. Loved the surrounding park and proximity to downtown.
