I rode the Hill Country Flyer last year with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter and had a great time! The volunteer in our car was very friendly and told stories about the train's history. We ate at Tealicious in Burnet and really enjoyed our meal. I can't wait to go again. If you're my age (75) I think you will have a great time.

This train picks up in Cedar Park and takes you to Burnet for a 2 hour stop. Burnet is a town of nothing to do. As with any small town, everything is closed on sundays. If you do go I would suggest you go on a Saturday. The town doesn't seem to have the tourism thing down yet. The train drops you off in Burnet in front of an HEB Grocery Store. ...
