20 years ago Highland Mall was an average place to shop. Now in 2006, there are 10 to 12 vacant store fronts on a quarterly basis. The constant decline in traffic, due to better stores elsewhere, have strangled the potential buyers to travel further to obtain their goods. This is a great collection of stores and I always found exactly what I needed. The guy at the Longhorns souveier store gave me and my friend a discount! Just ask nicely and say you're from out of town and they'll probably do the same for you!

I love that it has EVERYTHING!!! Most people working there are very nice and polite.

I work next to Barton Creek Mall but find myself driving all the way to Highland Mall because it has everything I need. I can't find stores at BC that are at Highland. The layout is simple and not confusing like BC Mall - I always get lost at Barton Creek and spend more time asking for directions and walking around than shopping. I always get back to work late.
