This place is great. I had the vegetarian rueben and it was excellent. If we would have had more time I would have visited them again. It is a 24/8 cafe with a lot of attitude. Great waitstaff, pointing you in the right direction for food you might like. First come, first serve seating so the 2 of us ended up at a table for 5. At South Congress ...

We were in Austin 2 nights and liked Magnolia South enough to go there both nights. Mexican Food was great - SW Enchiladas. 2nd night the salads and turkey ruben was just as good.

I LOVED my pancakes, my tacos, and my waitress...however, I didn't love eating at the same table with another couple and being crowded in between them and a booth, which was not even a foot away from me on the other side...I felt like I was being examined the whole time...which was made worse by the fact that both parties continuously commented ...

I went to the one on congress and it was awful. I got the steak and it had no flavor at all. The steak had a lot of fat on it and was very rough. the service was not great either. the waitress looked as if she didnt want to be there. overall this place was not what i was expecting.

Magnolia is a great experience in dining. The best part was the service which was friendly and very competent. It was a fun time. The food was great as well. I kept going back for the breakfast tacos which are to die for! Great value as well.

This is one of my all time favorite places to eat because the food is so fresh and the flavors are so tantalizing. Try the tropical tacos or the gingerbread pancakes.I always had fun going there in college. When I return to Austin, I make a point of paying the Magnolia a visit and I'm never disappointed.

Great breakfast menu with interesting dishes as well as traditional options. it has a very artsy feel to it. I love this place, but it's always packed so be prepared to wait.
