I love Guero's! Austin is my favorite place to visit. Guero's is the restaurant I MUST go to every time I'm there. I always recommend it to friends and family visiting Austin for the first time. I'm going to Austin in two weeks and I can't wait to visit my FAVORITE restaurant! I love it, I love it, I love it! Hope you enjoy your visit!

I prefer sitting in the bar area (front) or on the front porch. Bar staff are usually pretty solid. I like serving my own salsa from the big bowls on the bar -- I usually mix the red sauce and the pico de gallo together to make a very good salsa.

The margaritas are good and potent, although small.

They have a tacos al carbon plate which is very good -- my favorite.

The salsa and guacamole were very spicy, but the food was good. The portions are large, so you might want to split a plate or take some home with you. Overall, very good.

Great food, good service, but the drinks are way over priced($5 for 9oz house margarita) come on guys, you have a whole .79 cost in that one..... Other wise, a nice place.
