Great places with a nice variety of vegetarian foods. Ate in the "outdoor" garden in February. Nice ambience. Also got plenty of food and all of it was tasty. I got lasgne, my husband got a tostada. Delicious! Worth going there.

The bueno bigger at Mother's is the best veggie burger in town. But, it's the only thing worthing ordering. The pasta dishes are like the sort of entree dishes served at a school lunch. How can you mess up marinara? An their Southwestern dishes lack spices- they're really been bland.

Just order soup or the burger. I forgot to mention, to their credit, their desserts are wonderful and low-fat.

Had Lasagna made with spinach flavored pasta, green in color. Waiter didn't offer any alternative when informed that the meal tasted chalky and pasty.

Maybe whole wheat pasta was used, giving a different flavor from that expected.

Excellent food, great combinations, and fabulous flavor! The complimentary chips and salsa are even better than some traditional Mexican restaurants I've been to. The food always tastes so fresh. Great choice for vegetarians, vegans, and everyone in between!

I've been going to Mother's off and on for over 15 years, and the food rarely disappoints. It's perfect for lunch; on rainy days, the soup offerings always hit the spot. Other faves are the Peasant's Meal, any of the tasty enchiladas, and either the Garden Patch or Spinach salad (be sure to try their awesome Cashew-Tamari Dressing). ...

Mother's is a special place where one can go and get great vegetarian Mexican food that I think surpasses anyplace in the Southwest. It is also reasonably priced and the atmosphere is quaint and quiet.
