The sheer size of this statue will make your jaw drop. It was just amazing to see all the detail that went into something that large. At 42 feet tall, she's breathtaking and then I learned that what looks like a little tiny statue in her hand..is actually 6'4! Wow! Definitely worth the trip to see!

Visiting Centennial Park and seeing Parthenon was cool. Just sear size of the Parthenon and Athena was overwhelming. The park is located right across from Vanderbilt University. Admission is $5 Adult/$2.5 for Senior/child. Definately use a coupon for $1 off.

We went about 100 miles out of the way specifically to see the Parthenon and the Athena Statue. It was worth every mile of it!

Standing 42 feet tall, the statue awakened deep feelings within me and it was hard to keep from dancing at the foot of the statue!
